HOLDERNESS: Information sought following fatal road traffic collision on B1362 near Halsham

Information is being sought following a fatal road traffic collision on the B1362 between Halsham and Burstwick yesterday (Thursday, 19 June).

We were called at approximately 6.55pm, to reports that the rider of a BMW S 1000 motorcycle and the driver of a White Toyota Yaris had been involved in a collision on Eastholme Bridge in Halsham.

Emergency services attended the scene, however the motorcycle rider, a 27-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers at this time.

We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the collision who has information or dashcam footage that may assist our enquiries to please contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 475 of 19 June.
